SAFETY POWERS OUR PRODUCT DESIGN - Part III: Stay safe from Electrical Hazards

Safety first is what Zespik team always remind each other on our core value when designing Zespik® Alpha and Zespik® PowerFlex. We want to provide 360-degree protection for our customer’s feet, so that their all-day working performance will be boosted without the worry of heavy falling objects, sharp piercing objects, or even electric-shock hazards.

Part III - Stay Safe from Electrical Hazards

Made from PU leather and mesh lining, together with the thick rubber outsoles, Zespik® Power Work Shoes series are designed to provide protection against electrical hazards.

As shown on our ASTM F2413, Zespik® footwear passed the application of 18,000 volts at 60 hertz for one minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of one milliampere under dry conditions (as per ASTM F2413).

Note from OSHA: Steel toes have never been shown to conduct electricity as long as the toe is still covered with the shoe material.
